On October 17, RMIT and Monash Golden Key hosted the Race Against Depression. This year is the event’s 10th anniversary! We have 13 teams in total with 3 people in each team – everyone raced around Melbourne CBD to solve the challenges and clues.
We are partnering with Lifeline Australia, which is a 24 hour “Telephone Crisis Support”. Each team were required to raise at least $30 in order to participate and this year, we raised more than $1,800. How amazing was that!
We’d like to thank our sponsors: Officeworks, Xynergy, Target, Gaijin, and Pancake Parlour. We really appreciate the support given to us, both for participants and volunteers. Our event won’t be as successful without you!
Also, congratulation to our winners –
1st Place – Team VAB
2nd Place – Team Groupworx
3rd Place – Amazing C. A. Y
Best Dressed – The Gold Diggers
Most Funds Raised – The Mighty Muchkins
