The RMIT chapter’s Annual Trivia and Games Night was the first public social event of Semester 1 and the 2016 academic year.
Held at the City campus in Building 80, it gave Golden Key members and their friends the opportunity to meet other members and unwind before the inevitable waves of tests and projects start arriving.
After sharing some pizza (thanks to the great team at Domino’s Carlton), the night began with a short round of trivia. The difficulty of the questions allowed the quizmaster – which is unfortunately(?) me – to retain the most-hated title, as I was unsuccessful in winning over the competitors with interesting facts I have prepared.
This was followed by a few rounds of Jenga, Cards Against Humanity, Avalon and Twister, all of which allowed members and friends to get up-close and personal in different ways. The night was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and set a very positive tone by which the rest of the year will hopefully continue.
